Techno, Raves and Señor Glitter
A great passion of mine is music. I like to listen to lots of different styles of music, like Latin American music (Cumbia, Vallenato, Salsa, Bachata, Champeta, Afro-Caribbean) but also classical music, Rock, Pop, Oldies and also Techno music. I like it best when music is playing all day long. Preferably so loud that my husband complains about the volume. I always have my phases in which I prefer to listen to one style of music. I see Techno as absolute party music. At a good Techno party you can dance for hours and forget everything around you. In Leipzig and Berlin we have some friends who are at home in this scene and some of them are DJ’s in hip clubs in Leipzig. If we feel like it, we like to go to Leipzig to spend a few days with our friends and of course to rave with them! While there are a lot of people in this scene who prefer black clothes, we are more of the birds of paradise. We love it colorful and fancy. Especially for these occasions I have designed some special clothes. These include jackets, shirts, t-shirts, skirts and also onsies or overalls. For a friend of mine who works as a DJ in Leipzig I made an overall out of a purple sequined fabric. Since then I like to call him Señor Glitter.
